New York Youth Symphony Musical Theater Songwriting Program (2019 - 2022): Took weekly masterclasses from a wide array New York theater industry professionals under the tutelage of Teeth composer Anna K. Jacobs , performed at Joe’s Pub annually in April to showcase pieces composed throughout the program
Maestra Mentorship Mentorship Program (2022-2023): Studied under the mentorship of Madeline Stone, songwriter with music in films such as Ocean’s 12 and Stuart Little
Off-the-Lane Mentorship Program (2024): Studied under the mentorship of Face-to-Face lyricist Emily Drossell
The Second City (2025): Trained in writing scripted comedy in weekly classes at The Second City with writer-comedian Amber Singletary

SYNOPSIS
Inner Styles chronicles the internal meditations of Alanna, an eighteen year old popstar-wannabe reeling with anxiety, against the backdrop of a pandemic-stricken gap year. Alanna can't start her music career amidst a lockdown, like she had hoped, afflicted instead with musings about her past and future alike. All the while, an overbearing subconscious– embodied by Harry Styles, who she both wants to be and is in love with!– dictates her every move! Inner Styles uses blunt humor and historical fiction close to our own memories to shape an external embodiment of the internal adolescent mind in the opening months of the pandemic.
